Last week: Water is an important and precious natural resource. As the population of our city and state continues to grow, water conservation becomes even more vital to ensuring a sustainable future for our residents and visitors. As part of Water Conservation Month, Fort Lauderdale is participating in the Wyland Foundation’s National Mayor’s Challenge, a friendly competition from April 1 – 30 to raise awareness about the importance of preserving water resources. I encourage everyone to participate by visiting and taking the pledge to conserve water, save energy, and protect our environment. Together, we can all be H2O heroes!
