NEW DELHI: With various competitive examinations for government jobs and admission in educational institutions being marred by leak of question papers and technical glitches in recent times, the Supreme Court on Thursday said the present system has failed and there is need to revamp it to make it foolproof.

A bench of Justices S A Bobde and Deepak Gupta agreed to set up a committee to suggest measures to make the examinations tamper-proof and suggested the names of former Infosys chief Nandan Nilekani and computer scientist Vijay Bhatkar, who had developed India’s first supercomputer, to be part of the panel to look into the issue.
