The Rankin College of Business enrolled a record 106 MBA students this fall semester. In previous years, MBA enrollment ranged from 60-80 students per year, with an average of 71 students.
“We’ve done a few things, in my opinion, that have helped those enrollment numbers continue to rise,” said Dr. Christie Hough, MBA Director and Associate Professor of Management at SAU. “We waived the GMAT requirement for students with a very high GPA or previously obtained graduate degrees, and we also offered a buy one get one course promotion.”
Students with a cumulative 3.5 GPA from an AACSB accredited school did not have to take the GMAT for acceptance in 2018.
