PANAJI: In the light of the severe cyclonic storm that has hit India’s east coast, National Students Union of India (NSUI) has appealed to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reschedule the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) scheduled for May 5.
“In the interest of the students of India, particularly of Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh, NSUI Goa is requesting you to postpone NEET scheduled on May 5,” NSUI state president Ahraz Mulla said.
NEET is the all-India medical entrance exam that students across the country have to answer to get admission to MBBS programmes.
