KOLKATA: The West Bengal University Of Teachers Training, Education Planning and Administration went into a tizzy on Saturday morning after rumours were spread that the question paper of the BEd Part I first semester examination was being circulated on social media. Vice-chancellor Soma Bandyopadhyay had received the complaint at 11am and the exam was scheduled to start at 12 noon. However, the university went ahead with the exam as the question paper in question was found to be fake.

On Saturday, around 39,000 students appeared in the first-semester examination held across 136 centres.
