Eighteen-year-old Aayush Agarwal of Jamshedpur’s DBMS English School, emerged Jharkhand’s topper with an all India ranking (AIR) of 60 in the JEE (Advanced), the results of which were declared on Sunday.

Aayush, who secured 94.5% marks in aggregate in the CBSE Class-12 exams, wants to do computer science from IIT Bombay.

“At present, I would like to complete IIT. Later, I will try for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) as it offers better opportunities to do something for the society and the nation,” Aayush said.

The topper said he had a simple strategy to deal with the examination. “I paid much attention to subjects in which I was weak and gave extra time to subjects like chemistry for which I thought was less prepared,” he…
