Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has given the go-ahead to the state public services commission to publish results of the preliminary exams conducted for the sixth state civil services exams.

Justice S.N. Pathak, while hearing a writ petition filed by one Pankaj Pandey questioning the notification on the amendment of cut-off marks by the government, rejected it on Friday, okaying the amended cut-off marks for various categories of candidates.

Backed by the high court order, Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) can now conduct the main examination in which 34,000 candidates are expected to appear. As many as 326 government posts, lying vacant since 2015, will also be filled up by candidates who clear the exams.
