I want comparison between Thapar University, Ludhiana and Chandigarh University, Mohali. Please help me.
Hi Harsh,
Thapar university is one of the oldest universities of india. Placements are good in Thapar and that is why it has maintained its name among the best colleges in Punjab.Average salary is about Rs 6 lakhs. Companies like Texas Instruments, Sandisk and Microsoft visit the campus.
On the other hand, Chandigarh university set up in 2012 has less fame as compaerd to thapar university. But it is a fastly growing university and is supposed to have good placements in future.
All the best!!
Thapar University – Undoubtedly one of the best universities in the countries. It has great placements an amazing campus, great opportunities to be a part of extracurricular activities and sports. It has really good facilities, placements and a great faculty base.
But the fees are quite high, even more so if you’re a management student.
Chandigarh University – It is also a pretty good university. You could say it’s an ‘upcoming university’.It has an excellent faculty base and the placements are getting better with each passing year because of the quality.
Between the two if you have to choose based on merit or without monetary concern, the choice is pretty clear.
But if you have monetary concerns and are worried that Chandigarh University may not be good enough, it isn’t so. It’s a pretty great college and if you apply yourself and get out of your comfort zone, explore new talents and acquire skills like a blotting paper collecting ink, you would find yourself shining with ample opportunities to explore after your degree at Chandigarh University or frankly any university.
In south India the BTech. Colleges play the field as a packaged excursion so even if the high fees and the agents seeking their own fees and/or for and on behalf of the college, with creative designations posing as the purported friends of the colleges is excused and the fact that some fancy works behind the scenes of putting moneys of the college in the Tamil film industry is also excused and the fact that the family running the great shows including the college is undergoing internal seismic experiences which may inadvertently push the Schools as primary interest in the hierarchy of things to a distant second third place can be also excused….but what cannot be excused is the culture of short changing . The culture of money show at every f** ing stage that cannot be excused.
Now if some one to tell me about a student scoring 99 96 95 etc in Maths. Chem, and Physics. in CBSE and getting a rank of 48000 in JEE Mains which is the bast option for this B tech Mechanical guy.- AuthorPosts
