    Hi Shaurya,

You can join the Railways in the following ways as an engineer-
    1. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Exam
    2. IES exam conducted by UPSC

The jobs offered after clearing RRB are-
    Section Research Engineer
    Depot Material Superintendent
    Junior Research Engineer

The jobs offered after clearing IES are as follows-
    Indian Railway Service of Engineers
    Indian Railway Stores Services

To check the eligibility do check their websites on a regular basis.

    Hope this helped!

    hello,

If you want to join the railway’s engineering departments, then you need to complete your B.Tech. from any one of the following branches:

    1. Electrical engineering
    2. Mechanical engineering
    3. Civil engineering
    4. Electronics and Communication engineering
    5. IT engineering

after completing you degree you can apply for SSE or Senior Section Engineer post.

You also have another option i.e. Diploma course in any of the above mentioned branches and then you can apply for the JE Junior Engineers post.

you can get the study material, books and RRB previous years question papers .

First finish of with class XII exams as it is the base for anything you do in future.

    Good Luck !!

    thank you …!!
