This is one of the best photography school in Hyderabad- “Rajan School of Photography”. Started by a great visionary.
My favorite photography author – Bryan Peterson. He seems to have created an online course system where you get assignments and the instructors and your other class members critique them. Frankly – the interface looks a bit dated in the demo video, but it’s a good way to get feedback from other folks.
He has Books and Videos out there too – The book I undoubtedly learned the most about photography from, was Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson – he hosts the online course here:
There are so many good resources out there! This is one that has a link to 50 online courses and tips:

Since “online” Photography can be construed in a few ways (ie: Consumed on a computer or a Tablet) I highly recommend‘s work of love “Master your DSLR” ( )- which is a highly interactive tutorial that uses Inkling’s eBook technology. Check it out if you have an iPad, probably better than doing some of the online options frankly.

I live in Hyderabad and currently in class 12th. I love photography and i want to pursue it as my profession. I’ve been a part of certain workshops and now i want to pursue a full fledged course in Photography. Can you suggest me some reputable photography courses? I’m looking at full time courses as I’ll be done with school by March. Also are they some online courses i can probably join in the meantime?

Hi Rohan, there are many popular colleges in India that provide courses in photography. The top 3 photography colleges are The Light and Life Academy in Ooty, Jamia Milia Islamia in Delhi and Osmania University in Hyderabad. For online courses, you can enroll to nyip.edu or photographycourse.net. All the best,
