    Hey,

    I assume by official letter writing you mean Formal Letters.

    Well, formal/official letters can be of many types though the format of most of them remains the same.

    The types are :

    1. Sales Letters
    2. Complaint letters
    3. Order Letters
    4. Recruitment letters
    5. Adjustment letter
    6. Complaint letter
    7. Inquiry letters
    8. Letter of recommendation
    9. Cover letter
    10. Resignation letters
