    Hello Rishab. Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest Engineering Branch. The job prospects and the future scope of mechanical Engineering in India is good. There are lot of job opportunities in core companies in private as well as government sector. There is also a wide field for higher studies in mechanical engineering. The average salary of mechanical engineer in india is Rs 3,59,153. Good luck
