In these questions a group of letters is given followed by four combinations of digits and symbols numbered (1), (2), (3) and (4).
Letters are to be coded by digits/symbols as per the scheme and the conditions given below. Serial number of the combination of digits/symbols that represents the group of letters is your answer. If none of the combinations is correct your answer is (5) i.e. ‘None of these’.

(i) If first letter is a consonant and the last letter is a vowel their codes are to be interchanged.
(ii) If the first and last letter is a vowel, both are to be coded as δ.
(iii) If first as well as last letter is a consonant and in between there are two or more vowels, then all the vowels are coded as ‘£’.
(iv) If first letter is vowel and last letter is a consonant, both are to be coded as the code for consonant.
