    Hi Saloni!

Many candidates, whether girls or boys, get recruited in the clerical cadre by IBPS have a good chance of getting posted in their hometown or city if the bank has enough number of branches in their own city. Many get placed out f the city, but close to their city,  which is easily commutable from their home.

In case you are posted to some other location then you can apply for a transfer, as the PSB’s have a preferential transfer policy that allows the female employees to get transferred to the city where your parents live (if unmarried) or where your husband lives (if married).

    Hope this helps.
