Directions: Which of the given options best constitutes the underlying theme of the passage?

The main stakeholders in the industrial sphere are employers and their organizations, employees and their associations as well as the State and its agencies. The general belief is that employers manage corporations on behalf of shareholders, employees join trade unions and associations in order to protect their interests and the State and its agencies are interested in promoting social good. An interaction of this kind by its very nature will have areas of shared concern and areas of divergence. Learning to manage differences which arise as a consequence is perhaps the most critical aspect of the management of industrial relations.

    Options :-

    1. The interactions among the stakeholders in industrial relations should be characterized by a certain "balance of power".
    2. Industrial relations need to be crafted through the dynamic interaction of interdependent but fractious stakeholders.
    3. Employers and employees, the main stakeholders in the industrial space, are kept in line by the State and its agencies.
    4. Adherence to the rule of fair play is necessary for good relations within the stakeholders in industrial space.
    5. An interaction within various partners in a process that is both a convergent and a divergent process.
