    There are several conceptions of what it means for an employee to be engaged. At Kaivalya Education Foundation and Thermax, employee engagement refers to the extent to which the employee “identifies” with the organization and its goals. At Tata, Crompton Greaves, and other organizations, employee engagement is the expectation that employees will be termed as “married to the company.”There are several issues that need to be addressed while increasing employee engagement. The first involves defining engagement and designing the organization process around it. The second is to find ways and means to keep the employee continuously engaged. Another challenge for Corporate India is how to manage the engagement of employees who are less than 30 years old. Numerous studies show that the younger generation employees demand flexibility, rapid career growth, learning, and transparency from their workplace. People who received opportunities to learn and develop their career and become future ready for employment were more engaged.
