    Coke burns in the presence of atmospheric oxygen to give energy in the form of heat and light, and carbon dioxide gas is produced as a result. The reaction is as follows:

    C + O2 CO2 + energy

    The atomic masses of C and O are 12 u and 16 u, respectively. There are 24 kg of coke and 96 kg of O2 in the combustion chamber of a heating furnace. After the first lot of fuel has exhausted, how much more coke can be fed to the furnace, without adding any more oxygen, so that all the coke burns completely?
