    -Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is an apex Indian governmental body created in 1964 to address governmental corruption.
    In 2003, the Parliament enacted a law conferring statutory status on the CVC.
    It has the status of an autonomous body, free of control from any executive authority, charged with monitoring all vigilance activity under the
    Central Government of India

    -The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue is Asia's premier defence summit, a unique meeting of ministers and delegates.
    Each year’s agenda is intentionally wide-ranging, reflecting the many defence and security challenges facing a large and diverse region.
    The IISS convened the 17th Asia Security Summit (2018) was held in Singapore.

    SHANGRI LA DIAOLOGUE IS A TRACK ONE inter governmental security forum held annually by an independent think tank IISS (International institute for strategic studies) Asia security summit, which is attend by defense ministers and military chiefs of 28 Asia Pacific states..
    Its name is taken from SHANGRI LA HOTEL which is situated in Singapore where it has been held since 2002.

    CVC (Central vigilance commission) is main agency for preventing corruption in central govt. Established in 1964 by executive resolution of central govt. Recommended by Santhanam committee on prevention of corruption(1962).
    CVC consist of. Centtral vigilance commissioner( chairman) and not more than two vigilance commissioners they are appointed by President under hand and seal on recommendation of three member committee consisting of PM as its head, union home minister, and leader of opposition in lok sabha..
    They hold office for 4 years or they until attain 65 years of age, which ever is earlier,…not eligible for further employment under central or state govt.

    Answer for map based question is Mekong river is a common water body which is flowing between Myanmar, thailand,Laos, Vietnam, combodia.
    It flows in china as well..
    Myanmar, thailand,Laos, Vietnam, combodia These. Counties are members of ASEAN group, i.e.most important group in south east Asia, and most important for our country India also for trade, relations, culturally,etc
    These countries are also participatory member in Shangri LA dialogue

    It's an autonomous body vising various authorities in central Government organizations in planning, executing, reviewing and reforming their vigilance work.

    President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed former National Investigation Agency (NIA) chief Sharad Kumar (62) as vigilance commissioner in Central Vigilance commissioner in Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). He will have a term of four years or till he attains the age of 65. Sharad Kumar was IPS officer 1979-batch from Haryana cadre. He had retired in September 2017 after heading NIA for over four years…

    CVC is headed by Central Vigilance Commissioner and has two Vigilance Commissioners. They are appointed by President on recommendations of a select committee comprising of Prime Minister as Chairperson, Union Minister of Home Affairs and Leader of the second largest party in Lok Sabha or majority group leader in parliament.

    these are all south asian countries they are all part of ASEAN religion is the most common thread between these countries and mekong river which originates from tibetian plateau passes through these countries. it is 12th longest in world and 7th longest in asia , and it is one of the habitat of irrawaddy dolphin in the region.
