Bengaluru-based Think and Learn Pvt. Ltd, which operates ed-tech venture Byju’s, has raised $400 million (Rs 2,900 crore at current exchange rates) in a fresh round of funding at a valuation of $4 billion, according to a media report.
Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), private equity firm General Atlantic, Naspers Ventures and some existing investors participated in the round, Mint reported. It cited filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) accessed via data platform Paper.vc and a person it did not name.
