PALANPUR: As many as 15 students aspiring to be doctors had to undergo trauma of travelling over 1,600 km across the breath of the country from Patna in Bihar to Patan in Gujarat in peak of summer to appear for their NEET exam scheduled for Sunday.
The reason being the computer operator at the cyber café which the students used to fill the online NEET application, inadvertently selected Patan instead of Patna as the exam centre.
Since there are not direct trains between Patan and Bihar the students had to change couple of trains and travel three days without reservation to reach the north Gujarat town from their hometowns in Bihar.
