The percentile is calculated using this formula:
CAT Percentile= [1- (Respective Rank in CAT exam/ Total no. of CAT candidates)] * 100
The CAT percentile is calculated up to three decimal places and it then rounded off to the next closest possible number. Which is probably why two or more candidates get same percentile score.
