Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) Air Commodore MB Aserkar took over the Command as Air Officer Commanding of Air Force Station, Begumpet , here on Thursday.

A hollow square was conducted at Begumpet Air Force Station, and Group Captain K Sanjeev Kumar, Station Commander handed over the command to Aserkar, an official release said here.

The Air Officer is a graduate of National Defence Academy (NDA) and was initially commissioned in the fighter stream of Indian Air Force on June 11, 1988.

During his career, he has flown a variety of aircraft such as Hunters, Mig – 21/T-96 & AN – 32 and having 5000 hours of impeccable flying experience. Also, he is qualified on transport special operations.
